hello guys,

let the length of one side of a cubic box be x meter .
and we know that ,
volume of cube =( side )³
so, 3.375 = (x)³
x = ³√ 3.375
x = ³√(1.5×1.5× 1.5)
x = 1.5 meter
so the side of the cubic box = 1.5 meter.

I hope it is helpful

Answer:

The length of one side of the box is 1.5 metres.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the volume of a cube is l^3,

where l is the sides of the cube.

Step 1 of 1

We need to find the length of one side of the box.

It is given that the volume of a cubical box is 3.375 cubic metre, i.e.,

The volume of a cube = 3.375

l^3 = 3.375 . . . . . (1)

Since 3.375 = 1.5 × 1.5 × 1.5

3.375 = (1.5)^3

From (1), we have

l^3 = (1.5)^3

On comparing, we get

l=1.5 metre

Therefore, the length of one side of the box is 1.5 metres.
