The volume of a cubical tank is 32.768 .find the length of the side of the tank

Solution :


Given that the given tank is a cubical tank. Volume of the tank is also given to be 32.768 units.


So we must find the measure of each side of the tank. Well we know that,


Volume of a cube = Length³


=> 32.768 = Length³


Therefore to find the length we must take cube rot on both sides. After taking cube root we get,


=> Length = ∛ 32.768


=> Length = 3.2 units


Hence the measure of the side of the tank is 3.2 units.
