Step-by-step explanation:

given: V = 3072, L = 16 cm, B = 14 cm

to find: height H and TSA

V = L × B × H

=> H = V/(L × B)

=> H = 3072/16 × 14

=> H = 13.7 cm

TSA = 2( LH + BH + LB)

TSA = 2(16*13.7 + 14*13.7 + 16*14)

=> TSA = 2(219.2 + 191.8 + 224)

=> TSA = 1270 cm²

Question:༶•┈┈⛧┈♛

The volume of a cuboid is 3072 cm. If its length is 16 cm and breadth is 14 cm,

find its height. Also, find its total surface area.

Solution:。.。:∞♡*♥

Given;☆♬○♩●♪✧♩

  • Volume of Cuboid = 3072cm³
  • Length of Cuboid = 16cm
  • Breadth of cuboid = 14cm

So,

A/Formula;

Volume of Cuboid = 3072cm³

( l × b × h ) = 3072

16 × 14 × h = 3072

224 × h = 3072

h = 3072 / 224

h = 13.7cm

so, Height = 13.7cm

Then, ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇

T. S. A = 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(16×14 + 14×13.7 + 13.7×16)

= 2(224 + 191.8 + 219.2)

= 2(635)

= 1270

so, T. S. A = 1270cm²

Hence,◌◌ we have found;»»————>

  • Height = 13.7cm
  • Total surface area = 1270cm²

Analysis:▼△▼△▼△▼△

There is already the volume, length and breath has given. so, According to formula and question we have to find the height and Total surface area of this cuboid.

Formula to solve this question:▦

  • T. S. A = Total Surface Area
  • L = Length
  • B = Breadth
  • H = Height
  • Volume of Cuboid = ( l × b × h )
  • T. S. A = 2(lb + bh + hl)

I hope it's helpful for you!!!
