Given that : The volume of cylinder is 200 cm³
and its height is 10 cm.

Let, the radius of the base of cylinder is r cm.

As we know that : Volume of cylinder

\pi {r}^{2} h

Now, according to the question :

\pi {r}^{2} h = 200 \\ \\ = &gt; \frac{22}{7} {r}^{2} \times 10 = 200 \\ \\ = &gt; {r}^{2} = \frac{200 \times 7}{22 \times 10}.....(1)<br /><br /><br /><br />Now, according to the question : <br /><br /><br />[tex] \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{200 \times 7}{22 \times 10} \\ \\ = &gt; 20

So, the area of base of cylinder will be 20 cm²

 \large \tt AHOY!!

given :-

volume of the cylinder = 200cm³

height of the cylinder = 10cm

formula for the volume of a cylinder is πr²h

so we can write,

=> πr²h = 200cm³

=> 22/7 × r² × 10 = 200cm³

=> 220/7 × r² = 200cm³

=> r² = 200/1 × 7/220

=> r² = 1400/220

=> r² = 700/110 = 350/55 = 70/11

therefore area of the base of the cylinder = πr² (since base of a cylinder is circular)

= 22/7 × 70/11

= 2 × 10

= 20cm²
