vol of cylinder=πr^2h
            38016=22/7*r^2*21
                 r^2=576
                    r=24 cm
csa of cylider=2πrh
                     =2*22/7*21*24
                     =1584 cm

Given,

The volume of the cylinder = 38016 cm³

Height of the cylinder = 21 cm

To find,

The curved surface area of the cylinder.

Solution,

The curved surface area of the cylinder will be 3168 cm².

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

We know that the formula to find the volume of a cylinder is given as follows:

Volume = πr²h where r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder.

According to the question,

The volume of the cylinder = 38016 cm³

πr²h = 38016 cm³

πr²(21) = 38016 cm³

Putting the value of π to be 22/7,

r²(22/7) 21 = 38016 cm³

r²(22×3) = 38016 cm³

66r² = 38016 cm³

r² = 38016/66

r² = 576

r =√576

r = 24 cm

Now, the formula to find the curved surface area of the cylinder is:

CSA = 2πrh

CSA = 2×(22/7)×24×21

CSA = 2×22×24×3

CSA = 44×72

CSA = 3168 cm²

Hence, the curved surface area of the cylinder is 3168 cm².
