Answer:-

Given :-

⟹ Volume of cylinder = 38500 cm³

⟹ Height of cylinder = 40 cm

To find :-

⟹ Diameter of its base (d)

Solution :-

Volume = πr²h

⟹ 22/7 × r² × 40 = 38500

⟹ 125.71 × r² = 38500

⟹ r² = 38500/125.71

⟹ r² = 306.26

⟹ r = √306.26

⟹ r = 17.5

∴,

⟶ Radius (r) = 17.5 cm

⟶ Diameter (2r) = 35 cm
