volume of cylinder=πr^2h
1232=22/7*r^2*8
1232*7/22*8=r^2
7*7=r^2
r=7
CSA=2πrh
2*22/7*7*8. = 352
TSA=2πr(h+r). = 2*22/7*7(7+8)
= 660

sneha198: we know that volume of cylinder= πr^2h
sneha198: by applying πr^2h formula,we will get the value of r
sneha198: now apply the formula of CSA of cylinder
sneha198: 2πrh
sneha198: and tsa of cylinder
sneha198: 2πr(h+r)
sneha198: now answer have come
sneha198: understood or not
sidharthdhire: i understand thanku sneha
sneha198: your most welcome

heya folk !!!

this is too easy ☺

volume of cylinder =πr2^h【where R is radius and h is height if cylinder 】

but here volume of cylinder is given..

so,,πr2h=1232

=)22/7*r^2*8=1232

=)r^2=1232*7/22*8

=)r^2=49

=)r=7

,now,,,,,, curved surface area of cylinder is
=2πrh
=)2*22/7*7*8

=)352

and again ,as you know that total surface area of cylinder means .sum of curved surface area of cylinder and area of the base of both cylinder

=)2πrh+πr^2

=)2*22/7*8+22/7*7*7

=)22/7*7(8+7)

=)22(15)

=)6600Ans .

hope it help you.
