Given that volume of a plastic sealed box V = 350 cm^3.

Given that mass of the plastic sealed box M = 500 g.

We know that Density d = M/V

= 500/350

= 1.6 g/cm^3.

We know that density of water = 1g/cm^3.

Therefore, Density of sealed box is greater than density of water. Hence, it will sink in water.

Now,

Mass of the water displaced by the box = volume * density of water

= 350 * 1

= 350 g.

Hope this helps!

pacharemeena90: the SI unit of density is kg/m^3
pacharemeena90: but u wrote there g/cm^3- is this correct
pacharemeena90: ??
siddhartharao77: yes it is valid
pacharemeena90: ok
pacharemeena90: thanks
