Given:

  • Volume of solid hemisphere = 18π c.c = 18π cm³

To find:

Radius of solid hemisphere = ?

Solution:

We know that:

Volume of hemisphere = ⅔ πr³

⇒ 18 π = ⅔ π r³

⇒ 18 = ⅔ r³

⇒ 18 = 2r³ ÷ 3

⇒ 18 × 3 = 2r³

⇒ 2r³ = 54

⇒ r³ = 54 ÷ 3

⇒ r³ = 27

⇒ r = Cube root of 27

r = 3 cm

Radius of the given solid hemisphere = 3 cm
