as volume = πr²h
therefore
1232 = 22/7 * r² * 8
1232 * 7 = 22 * 8 *r²
8624 = 176r²
r² = 49
r = 7 cm
CSA of cylinder = 2πrh
= 2 * 22/7 * 7 * 8
= 44 * 8
= 352 cm²
TSA of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)
= 2 * 22/7 * 7 * ( 7 + 8 )
= 44 * 15
= 660 cm²
