Volume of a sphere is (4/3)πr³ and surface area is 4πr²

A hemisphere is half a sphere so (2/3)πr³ = 486 from which r = 6.145 cm

Then 2πr² = 2π(6.145)² = 237.3 sq cm

This is the curved surface so you may want to add on

the circular base at πr² = π(6.145)² = 118.6 sq cm giving a total of 355.9 sq cm.
