the volume of the mud taken out on digging a cylindrical tank is 1540 M cube find the depth of the tank if the diameter of the base is 7 m

here's ur answer frnd...

give:-

diameter=7m

therefore radius=7/2m

volume of the mud taken out from the cylindrical tank=1540m³

πr²h=1540m³

22/7×7/2×7/2×h=1540m³

11×7/2×h=1540m³

77/2×h=1540m³

h=1540/1×2/77

h=20×2

h=40m

hence, the depth of the cylindrical tank is 40m.

verification:-

volume=πr²h

=22/7×7/2×7/2×40

=11×7×20

=77×20

=1540m³

hence verified
