Step-by-step explanation:

lenght = 5m

breadth=400cm=4/100=4m

height=350=350/100=3.5m

walls of ceilings have to be polished it means total surface area

2(lb+bh+hl)

2(5*4+4*3.5+3.5*5)

2(20+14+17.5)

2(51.5)

103m2

cost of polishing: rs.15/m2

Answer:

Step by step explanation:-

Conversion of cm to m,

length= 5m, breath= 4m, height= 3.5m

Area of four walls of the room= 2h(l+b)

=2(3.5)(5+4)

= 63 sq m

Area of ceiling= 5 × 4

=20 sq m

Total area of four walls and ceiling of the room =63+20

= 83 sq m

Cost of polishing= 15 per m

= 15 × 83

= Rs. 1245.

Hope it helps..
