The watchman had no feature on his face no mouth, no nose , no eyes then how he had a conversation with the main character of the story? ?

If the watchman has hands,then he can listen to the main character using his ears (because you wrote that the watchman has no mouth,nose or eyes) and then reply by making signs with his hands and fingers.
