Trees plays a very important role in production of rain because when rain falls they don't fall directly on ground trees slow down their speed. If rain falls direct on ground it may lead to flood or drought.Trees also provide oxygen which is important if there is not oxygen then there will be more amount of co2 (carbon dioxide) in atmosphere.Which is harmful for us it increases humidity.Trees absorbs the rain water quickly which is good for us.If trees will not absorb it will lead to floods. So, in my opinion the trees play very important role in production of rain

Trees have a very important role in the production of rain. Transpiration occurs in trees which adds more humidity to the environment. This humid condenses and falls as precipitate in the form of rain, snow , ice , frost etc.

Hope i helped you. Transpiration is the answer
