Given :

The weight of 20metre of copper wire is 0.9 kg

To Find:

Find the weight of 170 metre of the same wire in gram.

Solution:

Weight of 20 m = 0.9 kg

1 kg =1000 g

0.9 kg = 0.9 \times 1000=900 g

So, Weight of 20 m = 900 g

Weight of 1 m = \frac{900}{20}g

Weight of 170 m = \frac{900}{20} \times 170=7650 g

Hence The weight of 170 m is 7650 g
