so you see you need 2 molecules of HCl fo1 of CaCO3
molar mass of CaCO3=40+12+3*16=100g
So 100g of CaCO3 is 1 mole.
You need from 1 2*1=2moles of HCl
2 moles of HCl weigh (35.5+1)*2=73g of HCl
and as the solution has 50% =0.5 of HCL, you need 73*2=146g
