Given : The weight of a body in air is 240 N and the weight in water is 190 N.

To find : The buoyancy from water.

solution : according to Archimedes principle,

apparent weight = weight of object in air - Thrust force (The buoyancy force)

here apparent weight means weight of body in a fluid.

so, The buoyancy force = weight of a body in air - weight of body in a fluid.

so the buoyancy force from water = weight of the body in air - weight of the body in water

= 240 N - 190 N = 50 N

Therefore the buoyancy force in water is 50 N

Buoyancy from water is 50N

Explanation:

Given:

Weight of a body in air = 240N

Weight in water = 190N

Find:

Buoyancy from water =?

Computation:

Using The Archimedes principle of the buoyancy force.

⇒ The buoyancy force = Weight in the air - weight in a fluid

⇒ The buoyancy force = 240 N - 190 N

⇒ The buoyancy force = 50N

Buoyancy from water is 50N
