(GM1M2)/(r)^2 = 400
GM1M2 = 400 r^2 -------(i)

where G is the gravitational constant, M1 is the mass of Earth, M2 is the mass of that object ,
and r is the radius of Earth.

let the increased height be h

GM1M2 ÷ ( r + R)^2 = 100

GM1M2 = 100 (r+R)^2 --------(ii)

as (i) = (ii)
so,

100 (r + R)^2 = 400r^2
(r + R)^2 = 4 r^2
(r+R)^2 ÷ r^2 = 4

{(r + R) /(r)}^2 = 4
( r + R) / r = 2

r + R = 2r
R = 2r-r
R = r

so,
the height is equal to the radius of earth i.e 6.4 × 10^6
