we need to do is just first see given.

total weight of sack = 2.64 kg
Change it in grams it make easy to divide and we need both same quantity so

we know = 1 kg = 1000g.

2.64 x 1000 = 2640 g

weight of each coin = 6g

now divide them so = 2640/6

= 440

so the total no. of coins in the sack = 440.

I hope this will help you...

Total Weight of Coin in sack=2.64 kg

=2.64×1000=2640 g

Each Coin Weight=6 g

So Total Coin

2640÷6

Why we Divide it Total weight by weight of 1 coin

Let you have 5 mangoes Each cost ₹2

Total Cost=5×2=₹10

And

When You were ask to find Total mangoes. If total cost is 10 and each cost is ₹2

What you will do=10/2=5

we get 5.

Just like

2640 g÷6 g

2640 \div 6 \\ \\ \cancel{2640} \times \frac{1}{\cancel6} \\ \\ = 440

\boxed{\textsf{Total\: Coin=440}}
