the weight of two bodies 2n and 2kgf respectively. what is the mass of each body

depends on how the body was weighed. If it was weighed in a scale having two pans, and balancing the weight of the body with a standard weight, then the mass of the body is 2 kg. Why? Because the force of gravity is equal in the body being weighed and the standard used to weigh it and so effect of gravity cancels out.

In case we are using a spring balance, in which a spring is stretched by the gravitational force and one can read off the pull. But again it will depend on how the spring balance scale is graduated. The common markings are such that it records force but markings are for mass only. So if a spring balance scale reads 2, it will still mean 2 kg. .
