Solution :

Number of dogs ( n ) = 15 ( odd )

Weights of 15 dogs are ,

9 , 26, 10, 22, 36,

13, 20 , 20, 10, 21,

25, 16, 12 , 14 , 19

Rearranging the data in ascending order,

9 , 10, 10, 12 , 13 ,

14, 16, 19 , 20, 20,

21 , 22, 25, 26, 36

Now ,

median = ( n + 1 )/2 th term

= ( 15 + 1 )/2 th term

= 16/2 th term

= 8 th term

= 19

Therefore ,

Median of the data = 19
