The wheel of a motor cycle is of radius 35 cm. How many rotations per minute must the wheel make so as to keep a speed of 66 kmph?

Circumference = 2πr=44/7×35=220cm
Distance travelled in 1 min= 66000/60= 1100m
Therefore required number of rotation = 1100×100/220 = 500

circumference of wheel=2πr=2×22/7×35
=220cm=2.2m
66kmph=66×1000/60=1100mpm
number of rotation=1100÷2.2=500
