let length be x and width be ⅔x
perimeter=2(x+⅔x)
540=2*5/3x
540=10/3x
x=540*3/10
x=162
length=162
widht=⅔*162=108
hope it helps

let the length be L. Therefore, width = 2/3 L
Now we know perimeter= 2(l+b)
therefore,
540 = 2 x (L + L2/3) = 2 x (5L/3) = 10 L /3

L = 540 x 3/10 = 162
Width = 2/3 x 162 = 108
