Answer:

let the length be x inch

then ATQ,

breadth =4x inch

Step-by-step explanation:

given perimeter(p) = 30 inches

p=2(l+b)

30÷2 = x+4x

15=5x

x=3

so the length of the rectangle is 3 inches

and breadth is 12 inches

hope u may got it,

plz thnxs to my answer and also mark me as a brainliest and also me mates

\Large{\underline{\bf{\blue{Given -}}}}

  • Breadth (Width) of rectangle = 4× length
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 30inch

  • Length of rectangle

\Large{\underline{\bf{\blue{Solution -}}}}

Let,

  • length of rectangle is x

  • Breadth of rectangle = 4x

. We know that, -

{\underline{\sf{ Perimeter \:of\: rectangle\: = 2 ( l + b )}}}

Where :-

  • l = length of rectangle
  • b = breadth of rectangle

So,

{\sf {Perimeter \:of\: rectangle = 2 ( l + b )}}

{\sf {=>  30 inch = 2( x + 4x )}}

{\sf{=>  30 inch = 2x + 8x}}

{\sf{=>  30 inch = 10x}}

{\sf{=>  x = \frac{30}{10} }}

{\sf{ => x = 3 inch}}

Hence,

length of rectangle = 3 inch
