Let the length be x
Then width =2/3x
Perimeter =2(l+b)=180
2(x+2/3x)=180
2(5x)=180
10x=180
X=18
Length =x=18
Width=2/3x=2/3*18=12

STUNNINGANSH57: it is right

hey mate !!

here is your answer !!

in the questions we find the dimensions of rectangle .

in the questions GIVEN data ,

perimeter of rectangle equal to 180 and the width of the rectangle is 2/3 of it's length .

let the length be x.

then, the width is 2/3x

here using formula ,

perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

now again, we put the values of l and b in the formula.

perimeter of rectangle = 180

2 ( l + b ) = 180

2 ( x + 2/3x ) = 180

2 ( 5x ) = 180

10 x = 180

x = 180 / 10

x = 18

we put the values ,

length is equal to x = 18 then length equal to 18

width 2/3 x putting the values of x in 2/3 × 18 equal to 12.
