Change of conceptions about working women

• Women empowerment refers to the uplift of women in all fields. It enables a woman to be accomplished and emancipated. An independent woman has to do all kinds of work. Her work may demand her to work late night or on night shifts.

• But the mind set of her neighbours are not broad. They are not only narrow minded but they cannot accept the upheaval of the women. They comment loosely on everything they can about a woman. They begin with her clothes.

• The perception definitely will have to change. The concept of staying back at home being neglected and tortured by man has to change.

• Once women start earning money with hard work and merit she becomes the bread earner of the family like the men. This by itself will help elevate her self-esteem. She will stand confident and strong.

• Her confidence will force her neighbours to change their concept about her or hold their tongues. Thus the change is bound to come. It is a matter of time but the time will soon come.
