Explanation:

Wool fiber obtained from the fleece of mammals like sheep, goat, yak, etc. are straightened, combed and rolled into yarn. But this involves a lot of steps right from the beginning of obtaining the fleece by shearing of the animal. Shearing involves removal of the fleece from the body of the animal.

Then the wool obtained is scoured which involves washing the wool fibers, followed by sorting. Then these fibers are sent to the industry where they are further processed, the small fibers or burrs are removed and dyed. The wool fiber is then 'straightened, combed and rolled' into a yarn of wool.
