Now charge of an alpha particle = 2e= 2 x 1.6 x 10^-19,           (e= 1.6x10^-19)

where e= charge of an electron

Hence Work done,

= 2 x 1.6 x 10^-19 x 25         (potential difference = p.d)

= 8 x 10^-18 J
