Causes of the pollution and how to bring back it to it s old glory.

Environmental pollution refers to the condition when the natural cycle of the environment is disturbed due to the mixing of poisonous or harmful materials. Pollution is of many types such as air pollution, soil pollution, noise pollution, water pollution, etc. Due to the increase in automobiles, as they release poisonous gases the air pollution is rising at an alarming rate. Therefore, the air we breath is not safe and have caused many lung disorders. Also by mixing sewage water in the drinking water causes water pollution which makes harmful diseases.

Due to an increase in air pollution by the industries in Agra, it has adversely affected the monument, Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was at first clear white in color, however, due to industrial pollution and other activities, it has caused the color to fade. The color has faded due to the presence of carbon and dust in gases. Such level of pollution is deteriorating the health of people as well the monument like Taj Mahal adversely.

Several steps are being taken by the government to prevent the monument from pollution. Steps such as electric crematoriums and ban on burning of cow dung are being taken by the UP government.

"   Yamuna river is polluted by various reasons such as outlet of industrial wastes, dumping unwanted trashes and also due to other human activities. There are many factories which discharge their wastes and pollute the water in addition to the environment. Also people dump unwanted trashes like broken glass, plastic which get cluttered all over the river.

They also wash clothes and utensils in the river which makes the water unfit for the purpose of drinking. Government has taken necessary steps to bring back its glory. Slum areas are bring cleared and many toilets have been installed. Also fine is being imposed if the dumps are thrown in the river. "
