The yield of wheat from 6 hectares land is 280 quintals. Find the number of hectares required for a yield
of 225 quintals.​

Quantity of wheat= 280 quintals.

To find

hectares needed to produce a yield of 250 quintals of wheat .

Solution:

Direct proportion,

280-6

250-x

280×x=250×6

280x=1500

x=1500/280

x=5.35
