Technology can be called as one of the best revolutions in the world. All so soon, you get to stay connected with your 1st-grade buddy. You do not have to maintain and remember all your ex-employees since you just feel so connected because they are all on your technical assistant. You can tell the world about all your achievements and you can simply express yourself to the whole world just by a click.

But it is very much evident by many surveys done that this very charming little devil causes a world size of damage to the lives of people. Technology is as equally addictive as the most harmful drugs. Technology has got the power to control and manipulate the minds of people. The features contained in various devices make the people want to open and use the technological devices repeatedly.

Technology has the power to creep in with psychological diseases. It is very much important for people to understand to maintain the consistency of their minds and not to be manipulated and lose themselves and their original happy lives.

Answer:

Youth these days have become a slave to technology

It is true the youth have become a slave to technology. Robin S. Sharma, the famous author and motivational speaker says, “Cell phones, mobile e-mail, and all the other cool and slick gadgets can cause massive losses in our creative output and overall productivity.”

Technology has affected the youth the most; they have become addicted to smart-phones, TVs, computers, I-pads, laptops, etc. The overuse of mobile has posed serious health issues. Radiation caused by microwaves emitting from network towers as well as mobile phones, eyesight getting affected due to exposure to mobile screen for hours, etc. are some of the health issues. Besides, mobile phones are also responsible for difficulty in concentration, fatigue, headaches and sleep disturbance that can further trigger health complications. Owing to late night use of mobile phones, the youngsters skimp on sleep which further causes health consequences. This has made them aggressive and irritated.

The other major disadvantage of the increasing use of such networking sites is the spread of obscenity. This is having a very negative impact on the impressionable minds of our young children and leading them astray. The parents, teachers and the government must look into the problems being caused by mobiles and these networking sites and must formulate a strategy either to curb or completely stop its fast growing negative influence on the minds of our youth.

Our youth is the future of our nation. We cannot allow this youth to waste their precious time on mobiles doing the Facebook. The same time must be spent on studying, researching and developing leadership or other life-skills. It is our moral duty as well as responsibility to direct our youth on the right path and teach them to make best use of these wonderfully gadgets to improve themselves only.
