Answer:

x= -2, -5

Step-by-step explanation:

By splitting method...

=>x²+7x+10

=>10×1=10

=>10= 5×2

now, replacing 7x by 5x+2x

=>x²+5x+2x+10

=x(x+5)+2(x+5)

=(x+2)(x+5)

(i) x+2=0

x=0-2= -2

(ii) x+5=0

x=0-5= -5

Answer:

p(x) =   {x}^{2}  + 7x + 10 \\    =  > p( -   2)=  { - 2}^{2}  + 7( - 2) + 10 \\  =  >  - 4 +  - 14 + 10 \\  =  >  - 8

p(x) =   {x}^{2}  + 7x + 10 \\    =  > p( -   5)=  { - 5}^{2}  + 7( - 5) + 10 \\  =  >  - 25 +  - 35 + 10 \\  =  >  - 50
