Answer:Yes we do meet people for a reason , the bird in the story Happy Prince wanted to stay for a night but coudnt find a place so he flew and found a place to stay. There was the happy Prince sadly looking over his city but could not help the people because he was a statue . He was hoping that a person would listen to him or at least think like to help the poor and hungry.so the bird met prince and this was the reason.
It is as God send the bird to help his city.
