the fun they had present a view of future when the system of education will be completely mechanized. the writer who is the conscious of the deficiencies of the present system of education wants us to realise that it is not necessary that present system of education should be discarded. real school and real teacher have their own importance. mechanical teachers and telebooks can't be a good substitute from them. this is what conveyed by Margie's sense of sadness and loneliness as she thinks the old times when kids would go to school together ,learn together from real humans and have a lot of fun together.
