Theme of the poem - 'Animals'
The poem underlines the idea of animals. There is comparison between human and animals. Animals are different from human beings. Animals are clam, relaxed. He shows love for the world of animals. Animals do not cry, have no greed whereas humans are very selfish, false and discontented. Animals have no sense of being superior or inferior. He used to wonder how human being evolved from animals?. He rues that human beings on their path to civilisation forgot the qualities of selfishness, equality and brotherhood.
