according to question :-

since BD = BD therefore there base will be same in the question

and both the triangles are Right angled triangle therefore the formula for their area will be of (1/2 *base * height)

A(triangle ABD) = 1/2 * b*h = 1/2 * b * 5 = 5/2b

A(triangle BED) = 1/2 * b*h = 1/2 * b * 3 = 3/2b

now

A(triangle ABD) / A(triangleBED) :-

5/2b / 3/2b

5/2b * 2b/3

5/3

so answer is option A = 5/3
