solution: given:A chord AB of a circle and Am=BM

To prove:OM is perpendicular on AB

Proof:In triangle OMA &OMB, OA=OB

OM=OM

AM=BM

Hence, Triangle OMA is congruent to Triangle OMB

SO,angle OMA=OMB(c.p.c.t)

But,OMA+OMB=180

hence,Angle OMA =OMB=90

hence,OM is perpendicular to AB
