Given :-ABCD is a ||gm.

To prove:- 1) AB = CD

2)AD = BC.

Constuction :-Join AC.

Proof :- In ∆ ABC and ∆ ADC, we have ;

AC =AC ( common)

<BAC = <DCA

< ACB = <ACD.

→∆ABC congruent to ∆ ADC.

→ 1) AB = CD( by cpct)

2)AD = BC ( by cpct)

Hence, proved.
