Let the number of children be x.

Number of adults at the concert = \frac{1}{4} *x (as given there are 1/4 as many adults as children at a concert.)

(A). Ratio of number of children to number of adults =  \frac{x}{\frac{x}{4}}

=  \frac{4x}{x}

= 4

Hence, the ratio of the number of children to the number of adults = 4:1

(B). Since the ratio between number of children to the number of adults is 4:1

Hence, number of children wil be 4 times the number of adults.
