Answer:

Given that,

For 100 students the food lasts for 20 days..

So it's clear that“more the number of students less the number of days”

Hence the given problem is in inverse proportion

So the condition for inverse proportion is x*y=x'*y'

Where x=100

Y=20

X'=725

Y'=no of days

So on substituting the values we get

100*20=125*y'

So we get y'=16

Therefore the food for 125 students will last for 16 days

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Acc to Q

124 students = 28 days

x students - 124 students = 16 days

From unitary method we know

a1*b1 = a2*b2

124*28 = x*16

x = 124*28/16

x = 3472/16

x = 217

So, x-124= 217-124 = 93 students .
