There are 2 squares s1 and s2. The ratio of their areas is 4:25.If the side of square s1 is 6 cm,what is the length if side s2?

Given that ratio of area of s1 : s2 = 4:25

area of s1 = side X side

= 6*6

= 36sq.cm

area of s2= x*x

ratio of area of s1:s2=4/25 = 36/x*x

x*x = 36/4*25

= 9*25

x= 3*5

= 15cm
