Then after that we are left with the number of mangoes rotten, so substract it from total number of mangoes in a basket to get the remaining mangoes or mangoes left behind.

Steps:

➛ Number of mangoes rotten = 20% of 250

➛ Number of mangoes rotten = 20/100 × 250

➛ Number of mangoes rotten = 2 × 25

➛ Number of mangoes rotten = 50

Now,

➤ Remaining mangoes = Total number of mangoes - Number of mangoes rotten

➤ Remaining mangoes = 250 - 50

➤ Remaining mangoes = 200
