400m=15----(2)

or,m=(15)/400;=.0375;

so,from euation 1 we get,w=(12-(250*.0375))/150=2.625/150=.0175;

so,if all r women then total unit done by them(400*.0175)=7

Solution 2:

400 members do 12 unit work in a day.

all men can do 15 unit of work in a day.

1 man can do 15/400 unit work in a day.

let 1 women can do x unit work in a day .

then a/q :

250*(15/400)+150X=12

X=7/400.

hence 400 women will do 7 unit of work in a day.
