There are 2500 plants in a garden. The garden is such that the number of rows is equal to the no. of columns. Find the number of plants in each row and column.​

Answer:

let number of rows =x

number of coloumns =x

total plants=x*x

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \  =  {x}^{2}

hence \\  {x}^{2}  = 2500

x =  \sqrt{2500}

x=50

HENCE,

Total number of rows=x=50

plants in 1 row=2500/50

=50
