Given :

Number of students = 27

Number of candy each student sells = 50

Cost of each candy bar = $0.75

Profit = 40%

To find : The class get to keep = ?

Solution :

Total cost price of 50 candy bars would be :

50\times 0.75=\$37.5\\

Amount earned by 27 students would be :

37.5\times 27=1012.50

Profit they keep would be :

\dfrac{40}{100}\times 1012.50=Rs.\ 405.00

Hence, the class get to keep Rs. 405.00.

Therefore, Option 'B' is correct.
