There are 4 cities placed on each corer of a square tha distance from one city to other is 8 km we had to construct a road connecting these cities we had only cash for making 22 km of road how can we construct the road

The road can be constructed from city 1 to city3 diagonally and from city2 to city four diagonally both these roads should merge at the centre of the square .

the length of each road is approximately 11km.

proof: 8^2+8^2=root 128=length of one road.

+=2=2(11)                                      (since we know that both these  

  =22 km                                                   roads will merge we can take it as 11.)
