Given,

- Green balls = 5

Red balls = 7

Total balls = 12

- Drawing two balls out of 12 = 12C2

- Drawing of one Green ball out of 5

balls = 5C1

- Drawing of one Red ball out of 7

balls = 7C1

- Now, drawing of one Green ball

and red balls without replacement

is given by = 5C1 × 7C1 / 12C2

= 5 × 7 / 66

= 0.53

• Therefore, drawing of one Green

ball and one red ball without

replacement is 0.53.
