There are 50 students in a class. 88 % passed in maths. The same number of boys and girl failed in test. It 42% are girls. How many boys passed.

total students=50
passed 88%=50×(88/100)=44
hence failed =50-44=6
since same no. boys & girls passed
hence 6 can divided into 2 similar parts
hence failed boys=3
also total girls 42%=50×(42/100)=21
so total boys =50-21=29
hence passed boys=29-3=26
