there are 500 childern in a school for P.T. drill they have to stand in such a manner that the number of rowsf is equal to number of columesc. how many childern would be left out in this arrangement​

As the number of rows is equal to thenumber of columns, we can take a square root of the total number ofchildren. If we take the square root of500, we have a remainder 16. It means 484 children can be arranged in 22rows and 22 columns and rest 16 will be left out.
